This course systematically presents and practises language and techniques to improve skills in giving presentations. |

Intensive training of oral expression of various topics, enlarging vocabulary, activating selected areas of grammar. |
| Literature |
Discussing magazine articles, short stories, novels etc., reading and discussing Cambridge Examinations set readings, becoming familiar with English literature. |
| Cross-Cultural Communication |
Do you have daily contact with people from English-speaking countries? Do you still have the feeling that misunderstandings occur even though you have a good command of the language? Using examples from texts and from your experience, you will work on the English language focusing on cultural differences, leading to a better understanding of the foreign world. |
| Office Communications |
English as written and spoken in the office on an everyday basis. Note taking, letters, memos, telephoning, and conversation. (Students may choose to focus exclusively on any of the subjects above, i.e., an entire course can be created around receiving and making phone calls). |

Key English Test
The Cambridge Key English Test is an elementary level examination for learners of
English. |
| PET |
Preliminary English Test Students have an effective though limited
command of the spoken and written language.
Communication can be handled in
familiar situations. |
| FCE |
First Certificate in English Students have a generally effective written
and spoken language and have the necessary
linguistic skills to manage communication
in familiar situations. |
| CAE |
Advanced Certificate in English Students at this level have a good operational
command of written and spoken
English. They are required to scan and skim
reading texts, often of a practical nature,
and to have the necessary linguistic skills
to produce written answers showing a certain
maturity of approach. CAE, though
not a business certificate, is of great value
to office staff whose professions involve
correspondence in English. |
| CPE |
Certificate of Proficiency in English At this level students have a fully operational
command of written and spoken
English. CPE is generally considered to be
the level required of foreign students wishing
to study at British universities. |
| BEC |
Business English Certificates BEC
(all levels)
The BEC suite of examinations offers an
English language qualification for learners
wishing to use English for the purposes of
international business. They are practical
examinations that focus on the application
of language in dealing with real-world
business situations. There are three BEC
levels; at each level there are Reading,
Writing, Listening and Speaking components. |

This exam is obligatory for non native English
speaking students who wish to study

Test of English for
International Communication
You intend to work in an English-speaking
environment you may need the TOEIC test
to show that your English knowledge is
sufficent. This is a multiple-choice test with
listening and reading sections, needing an
extensive vocabulary in everyday and business
English. Requirement: At least FCE. |
| ITEC |
This is a two-day psychological aptitude
test (group work, pair work, presentations)
for students who have been successful in
the TOEIC test. The preparation course will prepare
you for the test which will be held in English. |
| GMAT |
Graduate Management Admission Test
This exam is required by most MBA programs
in both Europe and abroad. Courses
focus on the English, Math and writing
